I had the best time at the Family Picnic today!! It really gave me a chance to visit with those that came and to reminisce about the good 'ol days of HSPVA! It was so fun to get to know my old friends and their families. It was a blast! I am sunburned BTW! Why did I not wear sunscreen...LOL! Brian and Trish, I am in love with Leel!! He is beautiful! Chris and Amy, you are amazing!! Your boys are adorable! Michaelea, I have new friends with your girls, they are so precious and I have sure missed you! Tracy, your family is so precious as well and thank you for bringing the mementos of Matthew and friends. Liza, I cannot wait to publish the pic of you and Eli and your mom. It is picture perfect. I never did get one of Natan (amazing name!!). Samantha...thank you, thank you, thank you. Love your Sophia and Paolo! They are sweet kids. John and Ashley, wish we could have visited...but glad we saw each other before we all left. I also wished so much that Ginger and Robert and the girls had been there...wanted so much to catch up and get to know the girls...keep in touch...miss ya. It was a blast today for me...I am so thankful.
I forgot to let everyone know I went to visit Mrs. Lowder today. She has been living in The University Place Retirement Community the past 16 years. She retired the year we graduated. We had a wonderful visit with her and I'll publish the picture with her as soon as I get home. I also brought her a goody bag filled with mementos from our reunion weekend. And we donated all the flowers from the reunion to The University Place. It was a fun day!
